Campaigns

Topia Arts Center is hosting multiple fundraising campaigns at once in an effort to raise money to help keep our development of the arts and education center moving forward.

Online Arts Funding

Our most popular campaigns are our “Online Arts Funding” campaigns or “Arts Funding” campaigns. Online Arts Funding is what happens when patrons of the arts donate online to arts organizations like ours in exchange for unique access and perks from the artists and organizations they feel most passionate about. When you support these campaigns the majority of your donation goes directly to the cover the costs associated with the specific campaign while 10% of your donation goes toward our “General Fund” (see below for more info on our General Fund). We currently have three Arts Funding campaigns. They are as follows:

fabricFABRIC SCULPTURES CAMPAIGN
CAMPAIGN FUNDRAISING GOAL: $8000

In our ongoing effort to innovate and inspire in all of our endeavors, we here at Topia Arts Center are seeking $8000 in Online Arts Funding from you – the members of our community – to cover the cost of commissioning and installing visually stimulating Fabric Sculptures by New York based architect, Gisela Stromeyer. TOP HAT CAMPAIGN
CAMPAIGN FUNDRAISING GOAL: $78,000

Topia Arts Center is building a completely green Performing Arts Center. One of the most important components of this new green performance space is core sustainability. We need to secure the envelope of the building and keep it warm and dry.

In our ongoing effort to innovate and inspire in all of our endeavors, we here at Topia Arts Center are seeking $78,000 in Online Arts Funding from you – the members of our community – to cover the cost of replacing and insulating the roof. ledlightingTHEATRICAL LED LIGHTING AND TOWERS CAMPAIGN
CAMPAIGN FUNDRAISING GOAL: $22,000

In keeping with the green development plans at Topia Arts Center, we plan to use LED lighting for the theatrical and house lights. LED lights use only a fraction of the power needed to beautifully and colorfully light the areas of the performance space. Four vertical towers will be erected on either side of the audience to light the fabric sculptures as well as the entry way and seating and performance ways.

In our ongoing effort to innovate and inspire in all of our endeavors, we here at Topia Arts Center are seeking $22,000 in Online Arts Funding from you – the members of our community – to cover the cost of purchasing and installing the LED Lighting Towers. Keeping The Lights On

In addition to our Arts Funding campaigns we have an ongoing campaign that we call “Keeping The Lights On”. Donations to this campaign go to the Topia Arts Center’s General Fund. This is how we pay for all the things that go into the day to day operation of our space. Arguably one of the most important donor categories, this is where you get to help the people behind the scenes take care of all the details they are attending to. Click here to support this campaign.

Founding 50

For a limited time we are offering the first 50 donors to this campaign a chance to be the first to add significant ongoing annual support to the founding of this important arts and education center. Click here to learn more about how you can become a Founding 50 member.

Symphony of Carpenters – A unique event

June 12th, 2010 both professional and lay carpenters shook bags of nails, hammered, sanded and did a variety of choreographed sonic events to a live audience. Soon, with the help of volunteers carpenters, the extended stage will be built thanks to the support of all of our participants, volunteers and donations.
