Topia Arts Center is committed to Green Leadership, excellence in the Arts and Adams’ revitalization efforts which directly contributes to regional economic development and growth.
Topia Arts Center’s audience is comprised of local and regional artists and residents as well as a large cross-section of eco and cultural tourists. In addition Topia Arts Center maintains a comprehensive Web 2.0 presence and ongoing social media dialog with it’s large online audience.
The current and ongoing costs of re-developing the historic theater in Adams, MA as a completely green Performing Arts Center while simultaneously producing unique and compelling programming for the center is in the millions of dollars.

Funds Used For: Marketing Study And Architectural Schematic Drawings
Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation
Amount: $130,000
Funds Used For: Theater Design, Marketing Study, Architectural Drawings, Grant Writing, Fundraising, Theatrical lights.
South Adams Savings Bank
Amount: $21,700
Funds Used For: Cleaning the theater, bringing electricity, exit signs and rebuilding the original vaudeville stage. Sponsoring of “Made In The Berkshires” film series. Sponsorship directly funded cost of new HD projector and 32 ft screen making Topia the largest HD experience in the Berkshires.

Funds Used For: Cleaning the theater, bringing electricity, exit signs and rebuilding the original vaudeville stage. Sponsored “Spooky Space” program this past Halloween and the Symphony of 100 Carpenters event.
